South San Francisco, CA – April 7, 2011 – Envivio, a leading provider of live and on-demand multi-screen IP video processing and delivery solutions, today introduced the new Envivio Halo™ Network Media Processor (NMP), a powerful complement to 4Caster™ C4-based multi-screen TV headends. Installed at the edge of the core video delivery network, Halo NMPs provide protected video that is formatted for further distribution to smartphones, tablets, connected TVs, and PCs. Axon’s Synapse addresses audio processing needs

Axon SynView multiviewer2011 represents the 15th consecutive year that the Netherlands-based AV conversion, processing and compliance recording specialist, Axon Digital Design, will have taken part in NAB.

Amongst the key new Synapse products in Las Vegas will be the GRB100 – a 3Gb/s HD and SD 48×16 channel shuffler – re-embedder. With this new unit, the source audio channels used for embedding into the output SDI can be derived from two individual 3Gb/s HD or SD inputs and from the 32 channels that are available in the quad speed multiplexing audio ADD-ON bus.

A neat feature of this card sees the output embedding 16 channels and the source for this audio can be derived from both SDI input 1 (which normally also carries the video) or from SDI input 2. Input two can be connected to a second SDI source that (more…)

PRG Presents the PRG LEA Stage in the Festhalle at Prolight + Sound

prg_brand.jpgAt this year’s Prolight + Sound trade show, April 6th – 9th, the Production Resource Group (PRG) exhibition will encompass the entire main hall of the Frankfurt fairground, Festhalle. The 32,000+ sq. ft. venue will also be the location for the official Prolight + Sound opening evening event and the PRG Live Entertainment Award (PRG LEA) on April 5th. PRG will be providing all the production support for the night’s celebration of the German entertainment industry.

During the entire Prolight + Sound trade show, visitors to the PRG Festhalle exhibit will be immersed in a complete live event production environment that will allow them to experience PRG’s unparalleled ability to integrate complex systems using state of the art technology.
